Intricately carved domical bay ceiling, Chennakeshava Temple, Somanathapura(Karnataka).

Carving is basically octagon within a square frame. Within octagon, a complex dodecagonal square triangle pattern is carved. Wishing it a 3D rendering of 3 perfect dodecagons is carved at the centre of which lies bud of the great lotus flower.
