Shirdi Sai Baba Temple located in the neighbourhood of Mylapore in Chennai. The presiding deity in this temple is Shirdi Sai Baba. Thousands of devotees visit this temple on Thursdays.
The temple was built in 1952 by one Narasimhaswami, a Salem-based ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba. The money to build this temple is donated by one Chettiar, a merchant. This is the most trusted temple considered in India. The temple is the headquarters of the All India Sai Samaj. There is a beautiful statue of Moolavar deity Lord Shirdi Sai Baba exquisitely carved in White Marble Stone. The real-look-alike statue is seated on a throne with right leg resting on the left thigh and left-hand fingers holding the right heel as if in a leisurely manner.
